For the first time in NCAA Tournament history, the Sweet 16 solely consists of the four power conferences, which has only resulted in minimal movement at the top of the futures market.

The SEC has a record seven schools that have advanced, while the ACC only has one but that is betting favorite, Duke.

The Blue Devils have +230 odds at FanDuel, while Florida is the second favorite with +430 odds. Houston (+500) and Auburn (+550) are the other #1 seeds and next among the favorites.

Alabama is the next favorite with +1500. The large drop-off from the top four favorites is consistent with the odds entering the tourney.

Prior to this season’s four, the fewest amount of conferences represented in the Sweet 16 was seven. The Sweet 16 officially began in 1975.
