Prop Watch: NFL Wild Card Weekend

By Ryan Bologna

The regular season is over, and although the fantasy football season is over, there is still some good advice out there for prop bets and daily fantasy. We’ve compiled who some of the top outlets recommend targeting for this weekend’s games.

– Daniel Jones under 40.5 rushing yards
ESPN– Austin Ekeler over 51.5 rushing yards

It is always interesting to see where the outlets are on the same page and where they differ. The first player that sticks out is 49ers tight end George Kittle. Sportsbook Wire likes him to score a touchdown, while Betting pros has him hitting the over for yardage. What this signals is that both of these props might be good, he will likely have a big role in the offense again this week. That could be applied to daily fantasy as well. Maybe Kittle is one of the main players you target.

Another player that multiple outlets are optimistic about is Chargers running back Austin Ekeler. ESPN has him hitting the over for rushing yards, while Betting Pros has him hitting the over for receiving yards. Ekeler is a great check down option for Justin Herbert, so it would be no surprise to see him have a ton of volume this weekend. If he does succeed on the ground like ESPN projects, it could be a big day for Ekeler.

There are some interesting sleepers here as well. Covers picked JaMycal Hasty to get over 10.5 rushing yards, so they see him getting enough of an opportunity to do that despite sitting behind Travis Etienne on the depth chart. They also picked Daniel Jones to go under for rushing yards, which is arguably a bold take because of how strong he has been running the ball this season. The Vikings weakness is pass defense though, and that ties into ESPN picking Isaiah Hodgins to go over 44.5 receiving yards. Jones has taken a liking to Hodgins since he was acquired from the Bills, and might be a good cheap option to round out your daily fantasy lineup.
