Could the improbable story of Brock Purdy include league MVP honors?

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback, the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, now has the third-shortest MVP odds (+700) at FandDuel. His odds this summer were +5000, which is a 50-to-1 payout.

The Niners are one of two remaining undefeated teams, and Purdy has a league-high quarterback rating. He also has nine touchdown passes and no interceptions.

Currently, San Francisco is the betting favorite to win Super Bowl LVIII at +450 and its win total has increased from 10.5 to 13.5. The Niners next travel to Cleveland this Sunday as 6.5-point favorites. The point spread has moved this week with the uncertain status of Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.
