The SEC enters its final season before Texas and Oklahoma join the mix in 2024. The Bulldogs have won the East in five of the past six years with Florida the lone outlier in 2020.
Georgia Bulldogs (-115 SEC Odds)
Georgia is a national championship favorite at +220 consensus odds and it is an overwhelming favorite to reach the conference title game. Last year, the Bulldogs ran the table with a perfect 15-0 season and won back-to-back titles. However, they did not win the conference in 2021.
Carson Beck and Brock Vandagriff will compete for the starting quarterback position, which had been held by Stetson Bennett the past two years. Beck left spring training as the favorite, as reported by Athlon Sports.
The Bulldogs are stacked with offensive weapons like tight end Brock Bowers and wide receiver Ladd McConkey. On defense, the young group had a dominant season last year and it’s expected to be the same going into the new season as Georgia returned most of the starters.
Georgia has a win total of 11.5 for the upcoming 12-game regular season with -135 odds to the under at DraftKings.
Tennessee Volunteers (+1400 SEC Odds)
The Volunteers made strides last season, posting double-digit wins for the first time since 2007. Tennessee’s odds to win the SEC are currently at +1400 and the team will need someone to step in and replace the loss of quarterback Hendon Hooker.
Known for his offensive-focused mind, head coach Josh Heupel helped his team to lead the nation in yards per game (525.5).
