SGA’s MVP odds back to -320

After his odds reached -500 less than a week ago, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is now a -320 NBA MVP favorite at DraftKings.

SGA dropped a career-high 54 points in an Oklahoma City Thunder win. His MVP odds shifted from -330 to -500 but that has since regressed.

SGA was the second betting favorite until about a month ago but then passed Nikola Jokic to become the betting favorite. The Joker is now the second favorite with +220 odds after reaching as high as +380 last week when SGA shifted to -500..

Gilgeous-Alexander currently leads the league in scoring at 32.1 points per game, while also averaging 6.0 assists and 5.3 rebounds. He also ranks second with 2.1 steals per game.

Jokic, a three-time MVP, is averaging a triple-double with 29.9 points, 13.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists. Additionally, he’s posting career-highs in points, minutes, steals, three-pointers made and three-point percentage.

Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6), Bill Russell (5), Michael Jordan (5), Wilt Chamberlain (4) and LeBron James (4) have more MVP awards.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the third favorite with +10000 odds, followed by Jayson Tatum with +15000 odds.
