USA (-17.5) vs. Serbia rematch in semis

After dismantling Brazil in the Olympic men’s basketball quarterfinals, the Americans next face Nikola Jokic and Serbia in the semifinals as 17.5-point favorites.

Team USA defeated the Serbs, 110-94, in their group play opener. With Jokic on the court, the two countries played to a draw. However, in the nine minutes with the three-time NBA MVP on the bench, Serbia was outscored 29-3.

In the other Olympic semifinal, Germany is favored by 4.5 points over France. The French, backed by the home crowd, upset Canada as an eight-point underdog in the quarterfinals. The Germans started slow against Greece and after the game was tied at halftime, Germany rallied for a 13-point win. Germany has covered all four games so far.

Team USA remains a -600 favorite at DraftKings to win the gold medal. Germany is the second favorite at +700. Serbia (+1800) and France (+2000) are the longshots.
