Vikings’ KOC new COY favorite

Kevin O’Connell of the Minnesota Vikings is the new +175 at FanDuel for NFL Coach of the Year, after Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions suffered their second loss on Sunday.

The Vikings host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football as seven-point favorites.

Minnesota is one of the season’s biggest surprises with an 11-2 record. The Vikes had a win total of 7.5 and entered the year with career backup quarterback Sam Darnold.

Campbell entered the weekend as an odds-on favorite but Detroit lost at home to the Buffalo Bills. The Lions are now 12-2 and continue to battle the Vikings in the NFC North.

Sean Payton of the Denver Broncos is next with +500 odds. Like Minnesota, Denver is surpassing expectations by a large margin. The Broncos are 9-5 with rookie quarterback Bo Nix and in the thick of the playoff race. Denver is also a league-best 11-3 ATS.

The Washington Commanders have a similar profile with a 9-5 record and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. Dan Quinn has +700 odds.
