Waiver Wire Targets For NFL Week 8

We’re heading into week eight of the NFL season, and there have been some significant moves that have had an impact on fantasy. Some players are seeing increased roles as a result of moves their teams have made. Here is who the experts think you should pick up for your team this week.

There wasn’t a big consensus for quarterbacks this week, but experts are warming up to Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. He isn’t lighting it up through the air, but the Giants are using his legs a ton. Jones is second in the NFL for rushing yards as a quarterback, only behind Lamar Jackson, and he is keeping the ball out of harm’s way. He is facing another defense that he could rack up rushing yards against in Seattle this weekend.

The outlets had very similar running back lists. Gus Edwards is the consensus number one waiver wire running back this week. As long as J.K. Dobbins is out, it is Edwards’ backfield in Baltimore. With Christian McCaffrey being dealt to the 49ers, Panthers running backs D’Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard were understandably two of the most popular names as well.

Giants wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is once again a popular name this week. His snaps are increasing by the week, and the Giants lost tight end Daniel Bellinger due to injury. Robinson should have a big role in the Giants offense going forward. Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell is another popular pickup. It will be interesting to see how he does with Sam Ehlinger at quarterback, but Campbell has been featured more and more each week.

Greg Dulcich has established himself as the go-to tight end in Denver. The Broncos offense is nothing to write home about, but if you are struggling at the tight end position Dulcich could be a good target for you. Evan Engram was mentioned by two outlets and has played well so far in Jacksonville, so he could be another option.
