XFL Semifinals Recap & More

The XFL Semifinals took place this past weekend and the stage is now set for the Championship game. The Arlington Renegades faced off against the Houston Roughnecks in the South Division Semifinals while the Seattle Sea Dragons took on the DC Defenders in the North Division Semifinals.

In the South Division Semifinals, the Arlington Renegades emerged victorious with a 26-11 win over the Houston Roughnecks. Renegades quarterback Luis Perez had an impressive performance, throwing for 282 yards and three touchdowns. JaVonta Payton also played a key role in the Renegades’ win with 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With this win, the Renegades secured their spot in the XFL Championship game.

The North Division Semifinals saw the DC Defenders take on the Seattle Sea Dragons. The Defenders came out on top with a 37-21 victory. Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu was a driving force behind the Defenders’ success, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Cam’Ron Harris also contributed to the win with 25 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Defenders will now face off against the Renegades in the XFL Championship game.

The Championship game is set to take place on May 13 at 8 p.m. ET. Both teams will be looking to make a statement and come out on top in what is sure to be an exciting match-up. The Renegades have shown their strength on the offensive end with impressive performances from their quarterback and receiving core. The Defenders, on the other hand, have a strong defense and will be looking to shut down the Renegades’ offense.

The XFL has been a welcome addition to the sports world, providing football fans with an exciting and entertaining league. The Championship game promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the XFL’s comeback season, and fans will be eagerly anticipating the match-up between the Renegades and Defenders. With both teams fighting for the title, the XFL Championship game is sure to deliver high-stakes action and intense competition.
